9月6日(月)に、夏季作品展を行いました。作品展には自由研究や工作、絵画や習字、手芸など、子どもたちのアイデアと努力の跡がいっぱいの素敵な作品が集まりました。

今は分散登校を行っているため、下学年は午前に、上学年は午後に、さらに学級ごとに時間を分けて、展示会場が密にならないように気をつけながら、お互いの作品を見合いました。

作品を見て回る子どもたちは、他の子の作品を見てアイデアや工夫を学ぶことができたようです。

この作品は、9月6日の校内夏季作品展にも展示する予定です。

We have finally finished our last day of In-School English Camp! We worked really hard on our skits and then presented them to our other friends and teachers. We were very nervous but we did our best! Our teachers told us we did a good job as well as our friends. The teachers picked their favorite three skits and gave a special award to those groups. However, every group got a participation award. It has been a great three days and we are really happy to have been able to improve our English!

Today marks the final day of our three days of In-School English Camp. We started off the day with some warm up games to get us to wake up. Then our teachers told us we were going to start working on making a short skit to show in the afternoon. We worked hard to come up with ideas for our skits. Then we began to come up with each of our lines to say. Our teachers had us practice saying them many, many times. Some of our groups even made props to use in the play. We are working hard to speak in a loud voice so when we perform, everyone will be able to hear us.

We finished our second day of In-School English Camp! This afternoon, we started off right away with moving around to other classrooms in the school and role playing with the other students in other groups. We had fun pretending to go to the airport, a restaurant, asking for directions, going to the doctor, going to a clothing store, and more! There were many funny boys and girls, and we laughed a lot with our friends! Lastly, we started to think about what we will do for our final presentation tomorrow. We can't wait to show you what we come up with!
