Today was our fourth day in Australia and our second day at Mueller College school. We tried so many things again and we had a lot fun! We used iPads in the math class and we taught our teachers and classmates some Japanese phrases like こんにちは or 元気ですか？Also, we learned how to play some games from our Aussie friends. Tomorrow will be our last day at school. We will be sad, but we hope we can have fun again, too!

We started the 2018 Australia Program which will take place over nine days. It was about an 8 hour flight ending with us arriving at Brisbane Airport. We took our a bus and visited Mount Coot-tha to enjoy a spectacular view of the city. Then we went to a history museum and art exhibition. We got to eat lunch outside and have real Australian hamburgers! Last, we went to meet our host families. We were all tired and nervous, but they welcomed us so with kind hearts, so we are excited to continue on with our following days of adventure!

Starting tomorrow, we will go to our first day at school. We are excited to learn English and make many new friends!

「夏の学校２０１８」二日目の今日は、昨晩仕掛けたフルーツトラップにカブトムシが二匹かかっているのを見つけることができ、子ども達の喜びの声からはじまった一日でした。

午前中のハイキングでは、ガイドの方に舞子高原の自然について教えていただきながら、ゲレンデから見える景色や、様々な生き物の生活の痕跡を楽しみました。

午後は登川で川遊びをし、そして夕食後に本日最後の活動となる「たき火体験」を行いました。それぞれ活動班ごとに工夫を凝らしながら、どの班もとても上手に火をつけることができました。

盛りだくさんの一日を過ごし、子ども達は昨日よりも少し早く、就寝しました。

 

「夏の学校2018」が始まりました。 今年は新潟県の舞子高原をフィールドに行われています。 新潟県の高原ですが、昼間の日差しは強く、気温は34°で、とても暑い一日でした。 ただ、森の木陰に入ると涼しい空気が流れていて、涼しく過ごすことができ、自然の素晴らしさを体感しました。 みんな夢中になって虫を追いかけ、補虫網を振っていました。 中には、田んぼの中にカエルを見つけ、カエルを採ろうとして田んぼに落っこちてしまった女の子もいました。 夕食後、林の中に甲虫をおびき寄せるための「フルーツトラップ」を仕掛けに行きました。 楽しい一日を過ごし今日はもうくたくたです。 9:00に消灯をして、明日の活動に備えました。
