This afternoon finishes up our second day of Green School. We started by taking a virtual tour of Green School in Bali. We were able to use VR to see some of the buildings in their school as if they were in our own school. We learned about some of the many buildings at their school and how they are built from bamboo. Next, we took part in a bamboo building workshop where we made our own shapes and sculptures from bamboo on cardboard. Then, we heard a presentation about the Bye-Bye Plastic Bags and asked some questions about their presentation. Last, we presented our thoughts and feelings about today's activities.

We completed our second morning of Green School! First, we reviewed what we learned yesterday. Next, we watched some videos about Green School as well as there program they started called “Bye Bye Plastic Bags”. Then we came up with our own English questions for Green School Bali and about the Bye Bye Plastic Bags program. We are excited to ask these questions to Green School Bali this coming afternoon! Last, we started working on ideas for our final day presentations. We can't wait to share our questions this afternoon with Green School Bali!

This afternoon, we completed our first full day of Green School activities! First, we reviewed what we learned in the morning. Next, we connected through Zoom with Green School Bali, and they showed us how to make a tote bag out of old T-shirts. After that, we listened to a Zoom talk by Dr. Takama (a representative of Su-re.co, a sustainability company) about SDGs and chasing after our dreams in life. Last, we carved pictures and designs into soap to use at home. We can't wait to see what's going to happen tomorrow!

Today is the first morning of our three days of Green School. We worked on our speaking skills by doing ltos of self-introduction activities. We talked with our new English teachers as well as with our friends. Since it’s our first day, we were nervous at first, but now we are getting used to our new teachers! In preparation to chat with Green School in Bali this afternoon, we answered English questions and played English games with our new English teachers via Zoom inside the school. Now we are ready to talk with Green School in Bal, do a soap carving activity and learn more about SDGs. We are excited to experience many new things and have fun together!

夏の学校が終わりました。

 

最終日も予定通りに実施することができました。

 

二日目の疲れがありまだまだ眠い中でしたが、

昨日仕掛けたトラップをみに行きました。

 

なかなかいい木が見つからず不安もありましたが、いくつかのグループにはカブト虫がいました。

 

最後に訪れた「昆虫の森」では、様々な展示を見たり、ドーム内で飼育されているたくさんの蝶を見たりと

たくさんの生き物を見ることができました。
