The 2024 English Speech Contest for 5^th and 6^th graders is officially over! Students were able to write their own speeches based on different themes. The 5^th graders wrote their speeches on ‘I like’ and the 6^th graders had a choice between ‘My Dream’ and ‘My Best Memory at Showa’. They were judged on five criteria: big voice, eye contact, speed, pronunciation, and originality (including gestures, pictures, and props). Everyone did a great job! We look forward to seeing who participates next year.
