Eiken Festival Autumn 2024

10月上旬に実施する、第２回実用英語技能検定試験を受ける児童が本校には多くいます。そこで、今週からEiken Festivalという期間限定の、英語のイベントを始めました。子どもたちは自分たちで好きな級のワークシートを選び、学習に取り組みます。ワークシートは本校の英語科教員が子どもたちの発達段階や学習内容を考慮して作成しているので、初めて英検を受ける子もゲーム感覚で楽しみながら取り組むことができます。週ごとにワークシートは変わる予定です。友達と一緒に楽しみながら取り組む子や、「先生、全部の級にチャレンジしてみてもいいですか？」とすべてのワークシートをもっていった子もいました。
There are many students who will take the Eiken test at the beginning of October. We decided to start an English event called “Eiken Festival” which will be held for 2 weeks. Students can choose which grade of worksheets they want to work on. These worksheets were made by English teachers based on what students learned in English class, so even it is their first time to try Eiken, they can have fun. We are planning to change worksheets each week. We have seen lots of students who are enjoying working on worksheets together with their friends, and trying all the different worksheets!
